Yesterday My mom and I went in here to look at wedding cake options for my wedding this coming June. We had a wonderful girl named "Andrea" I think ( I hope I spelled that right) She was very sweet and super helpful, also showed lots of excitement for my big day. She made me feel special and important. I'm so excited for her to do my cake. Thank you. :)

It seems a fitting motto for most employees in several Vancouver stores I visit would be "Don't try too hard". I feel so unwelcome at the checkout where I usually need to greet them first. Overall, I try not to stop, shop, and wait here. I really hope the best for them.

It's a smaller Safeway and doesn't always have the product you'd find at a larger store. There is no in-store bakery and no Chinese food in the deli. The customer service and staff are great though

Scott the manager is assistive and rather nice when you need help. Good Safeway and nice selection. However cell service sucks in the building.

Registars slow dont call for 3s a crowd offen, bathrooms are nasty, 3$ a pound for gala crisp apples.

The store is clean, well lit - but as with all Safeways - there are long lines at the cash register. They are trying to fix this - but as of this review it's still a work in progress. (Hint: Starbucks inside the store will check your groceries for you if not to many and they're not busy.)

I will always be fond of Safeway because of the great baked goods, excellent deli food and warm colors of the environment. Other than that, the prices can be a bit insane. This one I have been going to for more than half of my life, and have quite an attachment to.

As far as grocery stores go, we could have a worse one close to the house. Preferred over the local Walmart for groceries. There's usually a great selection, which is a good thing since I'm counting calories right now. There would be five stars, but it seems like there are never enough lanes open for the customers they have. I have always been greeted politely and with a smile, though.

Staffing is always lacking. The folks working do try to do a great job, and I appreciate them for their efforts, but overall they need more staff. This could be argued as a company flaw, every Safeway is like this. Super long check out lines and little floor staff available to help with locating products.

Hometown friendly feel in a big store. It doesn't have the selection of Salmon Creek location and tends to run out of or not stock the specials offered on the app but the staff here is always fun and friendly. Hopefully it will get a much needed update along with all the changes to this shopping center.

I like safeway. I like Fred meyer. I like hy vee. I really like Harris teeter. This safeway is OK. Seems they run a skeleton crew and although it's a good crew, they need more staff. Checkout lines are almost always 6 to 8 people deep. Other than that pretty good. The butcher Ryan is fantastic. Real good.

Friendly staff, except maybe an off day here and there. Has a ton of deals if you are a (free) member. Decent hot food selection after about 9am or so. And great bakery, smells AMAZING in the morning.

Got an 8 piece dark chicken ager seeing the signs ALL over the got case advertising $7. It rang up as more though, and even though the lady who packed it up for me came over and doubled down on the higher price, the cashier walked over to check for herself, came back, hand me all my money back and comp'd me the chicken for the amount of time rated because the hot food counter person had NO IDEA there were 6 pages sick to the front of here case saying $7. It's awesome when employees take a matter like this and just... Fix it beyond the customers expectations, without a manager or anything. I wish I had written that awesome ladies name down to write corporate about her. Absolutely a great experience all due to mistake!

It's located close to my house and has a decent selection, however pricing is high and the lines are always long... setting up a u scan area in place of one of the less used registers would make things much faster.

I love the people at this store. I have been shopping here for 6+ yrs & this store has remained consistent in enthusiastic & helpful employees. They are always friendly & helpful. The only negative is in the last 2yrs a significant decline in salad produce. For some reason their boxed (plastic) salad always goes bad in a day or 2. It doesnt matter the brand. They do offer a free exchange which I have never taken up on as its still a pain personally for me to bring it back etc... Regular produce seems just fine just takes prep time which I often don't have. I will from now on purchase my pre-washed/boxed salad elsewhere unless I have time to fully prep salad. Otherwise this store would get a 5 star rating for variety, customer service, and presentation.

Have shopped here for over 35 yrs and I'm 53. Service at times can be slow but this is my neighbor hood market. In love this store!

This is my favorite Safeway store. They are always organised. everything is in the right place (except shopping baskets). Employees are very nice, and respectful. The manager always keeps an eye on everything, and help their employees. I've seen her many times working as a cashier. I love them all. they are the best

I like the staff at this store; they are helpful. Unfortunately, the stock changes frequently, with favorite food items discontinued. The employees always say that it is the manufacturer who stopped making those products ("discontinued"). Maybe the manufacturer *did* discontinue making the product, but I get the feeling that as often as not, it is *Safeway* who has discontinued the item, not the manufacturer. The frozen foods isle changes every time I visit the store. I often don't know what will be in stock. And check the expiration dates on everything. I have unintentionally bought out-of-date food there. Having to check the dates is an added inconvenience to me. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I expect the *store* to rid the shelves of this old merchandise.

Good place for when you need that last minute item. Prices are high and selection is low but the employees are always helpful.

When I walked in, an employee was yelling at a young black man, pointing at him and shouting "out!" As if the man were a dog. The black man was acting friendly and not at all hostile. I don't know the circumstances that led up to a human being being talked to that way, but none would justify that humiliation. Either politely ask a person to leave, or call the police. He deserved more dignity than that. Then I went to the bathroom, it was filthy and there was no toilet paper. When I let customer service know, she rolled her eyes like this was a common problem. The one compliment I can give is that the deli food was hot and good and my cashier Socrates was exceedingly polite and friendly.

It's clean and stocked. What drives me nuts about Safeway is that the prices are high and the lines are always (ALWAYS) long because they only open one or two lines. I've put my stuff down and left more than once. The Starbucks girls are nice and fast there though.

Well they don't know what products they sell and they don't know the procedures. Boyfriend had a 10 min checkout for 3 items. I different day went to ask about returns and a particular product boyfriend bought. They didn't know anything. On the other hand man in freezer area is great. He's been looking for this special flavor of ice cream for me. Spumoni!

Went in today to pick up a few items and found that the self checkout is now gone - huh? I was told they have a new operating system, that apparently is slower than prior according to a checker, so what the heck. They always have long lines and are not that fast and I can speed through with self checkout. This is very backwards as all other big groc stores have this tool to let customers go quicker. Obviously I will shop way less there if not at all. Bring back self checkout!
