Whole Foods Market on the map

Geoff Mcfarlin: 05/03/2017 07:38

Good selection of good food same as all Whole Foods have ever been in I do like to get my healthy food from here even though it is overly expensive

Chip Owens: 05/03/2017 04:24

Good location. Not super busy. Smaller, but well done cooked food, buffet area. The beer/wine bar, growler area is solid. Maybe 20 taps of mainly local, regional options. Easy parking. Upstairs eating area and extra restrooms.

Madge Capra: 05/01/2017 16:46

Expensive but worth it. So fresh and tasty. The pizza is great and my husband loves the beer bar while I shop.

Gloria Zhong: 04/30/2017 20:17

Almost perfect. But it doesn't sell smoke house BBQ like other whole foods. Sometimes they do not have tiramisu cakes in stock.

Jen Graves: 04/30/2017 06:42

My favorite WF in Houston. They always have what I need and they have a great selection of things I don't need but inevitably buy anyway. Centrally located and one of the larger stores.

Mark Drucker: 04/28/2017 19:48

Very nice store and concept but doesn't measure up to Central Market. With Whole Food prices they could afford to offer sample as Central Market does.

William Andrews: 04/28/2017 06:11

Love the whole foods vibe but the bathrooms are consistently on par with a truck stop restroom. It is so awful to go from an enjoyable pub / community experience to filth. I have tried in the past to alert MGMT but nothing has changed. So, enjoy shopping, drinking and eating and hope you can make it home to not have to straddle three days urine.

If you're a 20-30 something yuppie on a cardboard diet, this is the place for you. Update 3-02-2017: Three times now I've gone to the deli for something to eat, and they're always out of what I want. How much are they paying these morons? Update: 4-18-2017: Waited 25 minutes for these idiots to make a burger... How difficult can that be?? To top that, I get to the counter to pay for it, and the cashier doesn't know how to ring it up!

EnergyPoint Research: 04/13/2017 20:17

This is a good sized store in that it has most of what other Whole Foods locations carry, but is not so large that you can't find what you need. Staff is generally friendly and knowledgeable. Wish the prices were lower, but I'll leave that to the magic of the market place to work out over time. Glad to have the store in the neighboorhood.

Brian Lyster: 04/07/2017 07:21

Awesome store. I always get my fresh vegetables here either organic or responsibly grown. I've been trying the house brews too. I like the Amber ale. I like the array of organic foods available. The prepared foods I've had are good like the BBQ, soups, and pastries.

Jerry Helfand: 04/04/2017 19:49

A well run supermarket. Higher prices for higher quality. Parking lot could be bigger, so U go elsewhere on the busiest days.

Michael Abramowitz: 04/03/2017 00:09

Wholefoods has no diet foods as if chemicals are worse than high sugar, high carbohydrate foods. Brown Rice and White Rice are both carbs. Cane sugar and natural honey are both carbs, and it is now clear that if you are honest to shoppers, organic may be great but Whole Foods should have a section that shows LOW CARBOHYDRATES, and that doesn't mean no added sugar, or low fat. Fat doesn't turn in to fat. Carbohydrates do. Granola sounds healthy but has over twice the carbohydrates of Cherrios for the same one cup.

Richard Ago: 04/02/2017 23:59

We enjoy steak night and bingo night. The micro brews are usually good. They have something for all beer drinkers. Worst case, grab something from I'm store and you can drink it there. Bring cash to tip as you can't put it on your CC.

Paul Baker: 03/23/2017 00:53

4 stars because their tacos have gone down hill. Used to be THE place to go for breakfast tacos in this area but lately they've been dry, under salted, and just not as good. The brewery is amazing and probably why this location gets all it's attention but it's too small. Had to pass on a brew due to lack of seating more than once. Upstairs is a great area for studying or eating; definitely go up the spiral staircase and check it out.

David Thomas: 03/17/2017 01:53

This whole foods is exactly what you would expect. The selection is the same as every other whole foods I have visited, and the feel is also similar. Parking is simple, layout inside is typical. Ultimately it is a supermarket. Most things that they sell are good, but certain products are outrageously expensive and really low quality compared to a host of other places. You really have to pick and choose here, hence 4 stars and not 5.

jessebtall92: 03/12/2017 07:18

All the employees were friendly and kind but the location was tiny and lacked any interesting aesthetics or unique atmosphere. Wholefoods also is notorious for their ridiculously high prices, so I prefer going to the Trader Joes across the street.

Laura Nguyen: 03/12/2017 04:29

Pricey, but there are ways to save at Whole Foods. I love their salad bar. Their berry chantilly cake is the best! Customer service is excellent. I'm very glad to have a Whole Foods close to home.

Angela Miller: 03/09/2017 22:40

Take a walk through what nature intended a grocery store to really be but don’t be surprised when it is much more than your expectations. From the wide assortment of natural nuts, fruits, grains as well as produce; to the array of fresh poultry, beef and seafood. Let’s not forget their vast selection of ready-made meals to prepare as you like, until your hearts content. Healthy food packaged the way it should be, naturally.

Shawndria Dorsey: 03/06/2017 17:16

This is my go to Whole Foods Market. Meaning if I just need to run in and run out. They have my staples but they aren't as big and don't have as much variety as a few other larger ones. Customer service is decent here too.

Chad Ramsey: 03/02/2017 00:57

They have some healthy food. Price is too high. If your gonna go here, go to the more local place. We did get our Christmas tree from here and it was a great tree.

MICHAEL STUMPS: 03/01/2017 07:11

Went to the store to purchase a special flat bread unable to find it. I am always amazed at the price point at these stores eating healthy should not come at such a high price point. I think all of the various items in these stores are great. The deli section and salad bar were fresh and inviting as well as the hot food section's.One thing that this location excels in is customer service everyone was eager to help and,had great positive attitudes.

kyle steck: 02/18/2017 17:49

Price gouging. Most of their produce isn't organic and when it is sometimes it's 60% more expensive than a normal grocers organic selection. Items are passed expiration dates all over the store, this is surprising considering the cost. There is actually a better beer selection at Randall's. Whole foods has fallen off the local wagon lately. Checkout is nice and typically quick. But the term whole paycheck does apply.

John Bandas: 02/13/2017 19:55

Full disclosure: my significant other works here. It could be because of this, but I just feel that this Whole Foods has a lot of really great and friendly employees. Sit at the bar and you'll meet some of them! Beyond the employees, there is always a unique selection at the bar. The prepared foods section is also really tasty and wholesome. I don't always shop here due to the price, but you do get what you pay for, and everything I've eaten here has always been high quality.

Sammy Peters: 02/13/2017 04:57

Whole foods are the best grocery stores. Outside of Central Market. A bit pricey though. Great produce and meat selection. Prepared food and buffet are ok. Healthy options. Decent coffee. Good pizza.

Damien Franco: 02/08/2017 01:50

We live in the Heights and drive hear for 80% of our groceries. The staff is amazing. The selection is exactly what we want. Even in instances where we've had to use "customer service" for returning products or whatever it's been absolutely painless. Plus...the bar. Sipping on a good beer while I do my grocery shopping is the best thing ever. They just need to add some cupholders to the shopping carts!

Krystal G: 02/06/2017 23:48

This store is refreshing. Everything is clean and organized. They have all the brands I could ask for. I often grab a quick lunch here as well. Great variety of cooked foods that have all been delicious!

Phoefe P: 02/01/2017 00:41

This is a great location. It seems smaller but carries their best essentials. I love getting my bath and body products from here. The hot bar also has a great selection. I often eat here for lunch.

Rick Paul: 01/26/2017 03:07

Great place to buy those special food items. The isles are narrow and can become easily crowded. Their selection of bread was surprisingly limited. Check out went smoothly with plenty of registers.

Cassidy Culp: 01/16/2017 20:34

Pretty upset. I was checking out and the cashier told me my total I swiped my card but thought the total was less than it should be I noticed something I was getting was usually $5 but rand up for 99 cents! There was no one behind me so I said ring me up for another one and I'll go grab it! I was so excited to get such a great deal. The cashier then said oh wait that's not right then he reached over hit cancel on the card machine and fixed the price of the item and told me my new higher total. I don't care if it's just $4 that is horrible customer service. I even told him that and he didn't say anything but then says my new total again and said I could swipe anytime. This was his mistake not mine so I should have gotten the product for the lower price if I wouldn't have said anything I would have "gotten away" with it. It's so small but Whole Foods is usually know for their customer service but not this store.

Nick Emmite: 01/15/2017 11:07

More like whole pay check. It's way over priced, but lots of fresh and organic products. Some things I can only get there.

Jyothy M Jagannathan: 01/13/2017 23:57

Love the new whole foods.. healthy buffet, slightly on the pricey side.. but a great place to try out new food. Usually restaurants stick to a cuisine while serving buffet and the best part about whole foods is that they mix things out. I just love that idea!

Theresa Goolsby: 01/10/2017 08:34

It's a little pricey. The products are great and the customer service is spectacular. Just not too pleased with the pricing on a few things. I understand that it is all fare trade, organic, cruelty free. That is very much appreciated! I can also get the same products for much less at other grocery stores.

Lysa Wyatt: 01/03/2017 03:37

I travel throughout Houston literally ALL Day, because my work requires it. With that being said I have visited every Wholefoods location that Houston has to offer. I gave this one 5 stars because it is one of my personal favorites. Friendly staff and they can actually cook (unlike some locations) *clears throat* LOUETTA! Excuse me. But yes, this is one of my personal favorites.

Jason Benfield: 12/12/2016 02:34

Absolutely the best staff especially in the health department. The hot food bar is a little lacking. But their meat department is top notch. They have sushi, pizza, custom sandwiches, and a top notch bar so you can sip the finest while shopping. Their patio for eating is very industrial chic with a plethora of complimentary condiments. I love this store but their fashion section is a bit smaller than other whole foods I've been to.

Amy Kugali McWilliams: 11/01/2016 00:46

This is sort of a strange location of Whole Foods - or just different maybe. This location definitely felt more like a place to get lunch and do some shopping for lotion, clothes, and maybe groceries, than it did a grocery store! It was sort of bizarre. It was very new looking and clean and had all the great products of any Whole Foods, but the layout is more oriented to take-out food. There were tons of samples everywhere too. I got a really delicious salad from the salad bar. It is a nice location but definitely different than the others!
