TL;DR: Good help overall, but Computer-Help guys could use some help in figuring out and solving problems in the first place. Good people still, just be thorough with them when coming in to get help with a custom built that they made. Let me tell you a tale: I'm a young animator in training, so a custom-built computer is virtually mandated for me to have even a chance of competing for the few and far between animation jobs in the country. It doesn't help that I know next to nothing about building computers in the first place. The people at Fry's knew this when I first walked in. They were very helpful, helping me get the parts I need and building the computer for a reasonable price. I pick it up one spring afternoon, take it home, and put it to use. Then the problems started. My computer began randomly shutting down without warning, and any attempt to turn it on again had a 1 in 10 chance of working. I take it in to ask them to help fix the problem. They "fix" it and give it back. Problem still exists. Take it in again with the same problem. Different solution, but supposedly now fixed. Except it wasn't, and I was out an extra 80 buck's to replace a "failing" hard drive. Finally, we get in touch with some one higher up, and they get it fixed for free. The old problem is gone, but a new problem exists: inability to connect to Wi-fi. I know next to nothing about what plugs in where in this thing, so I'm gonna bring it back in tomorrow and hopefully get a quick fix.

I feel forced to go here because Radio shack is gone, I walked around for a good 45 minutes and nobody ask if I needed help. I never could find what I was looking for and when I asked for help, they kept passing me off to a different department. I tried to ask a member of management before I left and got no where. I would spend your money else where or take their advice and "buy it online"

It doesn't seem like there is quite anyother place in the USA like Fry's. There is a giant selection of household and gadget products to try out that make being a human more fun. There is a NASA theme to the Houston store and a cafe. I bought a mini concealable spy video camera had problems with getting it to work. I just didn't have the money. There is a vast selection for the hobbyist for electronics parts from basic components for a homemade electronics project. When I finally get a little more money and save up for land and basic supplies and with preparation. I am going off the grid for a while and using my brain to learn electronics and build something that works. Open box deals on computers and appliances for sale. Beats Best Buy. Plan to spend a number of hours here or all day to take it in.

If you can't find it at FRY's try Amazon. Thus place is pretty complete in terms of Anthony electronic. I found spend hours in here and never be bored.

I had a good sales guy. I told him what I wanted in a computer and could afford and he found it for me and didn't try to upsell me. I just don't remember his name but I so much appreciated his help.

Sherry Cheeks - Manager - DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! I WENT IN TO THE STORE WISHING FOR AN EXCHANGE OF FAULTY MERCHANDISE AND WITHOUT REGARD TO THE SATISFACTION GAURENTEED POLICY, SHE DID NOT OFFER ME A PERCENTAGE OFF MY PURCHASE, ASK WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS, OR EVEN ASSIST ME FURTHER WITH RESOLVING THE CONCERN. I AM APPALLED AT THE FACT THAT THIS IS THE WAY CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED.

Man, the shadiness in this store is about as black and in your face as the dust covering the entire store, i guess they have to protect their valuables somehow. From the moment you step in and take your first sniff you can already smell the dissapointment. You can find more politeness from the person roasting your life than any of the employees. For a place that claims to have customer satisfation as their main priority is as much of a lie as finding a clean toilet in the building. Like rats? Check out the computers, you'll find your self a friend. Do your self a favour and try any other electronic stores as any alternative, heck maybe even go to one of those knock off electronics store ran by some shaddy guy with only one tooth. At the very least he'll give you a smile while ripping you off , better service than any of the employees.

Great prices, people, products, and cafe! I can honestly say that I left the store with one of the best experiences I have ever had in any retail store. My wife and I were talking about it for at least an hour afterwards. I went in to buy a laptop and was thoroughly helped by the salesmen during my search. I was sold on the Hp Spectre 360 because the price was the best I had ever seen for this high-demand laptop, even better than online prices! They asked me if I wanted to add the 2 or 3 year Fry's service warranty, and I told them I really did want to but I didn't want to spend that much money for it. As the salesman took the computer to the counter, another noticed that he had made a mistake with the item and then told me to wait by the counter while they retrieved the correct one for me. We were actually having a great conversation with the cashier and didn't mind the five minute wait at all. As we were talking with her, the salesman that had made the mistake was running back to meet me at the counter. He sincerely apologized for the wait (it was about 5 minutes) and for the fact that he had made the mistake with the product. I told him not to worry about it because I didn't mind the wait at all. He then told me that because of my wait he had gone ahead and discounted the laptop that was already an amazing deal in the first place! On top of that, he had included the 3-year Fry's warranty at no cost to me in case anything happens to the laptop! No dealing with the manufacturer! If anything goes wrong with it, they fix or replace it for me! I left in awe. This is true customer service.

I have been to 3 Fry's in the area, and today's service by Juan (he was working in Blu-rays) was exceptional. He didn't tuck and hide from customers, he was genuinely customer focused, helped with wireless headset questions and appropriately went out of his way to help. Plus the store was well stocked and clean. I basically never give a 5 on reviews, but this location definitely gets a 4+

Love the products.. good service in the computer section.. loved it.. but coming in and leaving i felt like i was being shamed foe not walking out with anything.. no "hi, welcome to frys" or "thank you for coming".. just stares.. gross
