Kroger on the map

Worst Kroger. Don't waste your time. I come in the evenings and there is always a line of 20to 30 people. Sometimes more. Most of the time only the uscan is opened and the person working is way behind on helping people. They are so cheap on labor here. Even if you're closer, you'll save time making a trip. As I posted this I just heard a woman warning a man in the parking lot not to waste his time going in. I'm not even kidding.

This Kroger is much better than the one by my house. It's just a bit busy all the time.
sean donohue: 05/01/2017 03:09
Good selection and quality. They never have enough lanes open. Often only have self service check outs open even when it is busy still

Good place to go for lunch on the run. Great organic section. Lots of bakery stuff on discount. The customer service desk takes forever as there may not be someone there to help.

This is a great Kroger. So many options beyond just groceries.
Kennisha Hill: 04/25/2017 04:34
We go there often and always get a great experience

Kroghetto... Worst kroger I've ever been to but not a horrible place to get groceries if you don't mind having panhandlers hit you up outside AND inside the store. There's usually a rent a cop there that just looks at you like he wishes he could help.

A fine Kroger overall, but points are definitely lost for the atrocious size and placement of the parking lot. The length and depth take away from the walkable built environment of the area and wholly incentivizes driving. The crosswalks at the intersection are a nice touch, but when you have a literal city-block parking lot on a hot or cold day, nothing brings people in from the street.

Not my usual Kroger, but always well stocked with everything. Produce always looks fresh as well
Nick Yinger: 04/11/2017 04:05
It's filthy. There are flies all over the produce section. Update: easily the worst Kroger I've ever been to. These pulitzer prize winners can't sell you propane because they "can't find the key". Stood in line for 20 minutes to learn that. DO NOT shop here
Lisa Jelle: 04/05/2017 20:12
Don't go here after 9 pm. I almost saw a riot one night at 10 pm when only the auto checkouts were open and there was only one person sort of working, to corral the 30 people trying to check out. She was wearing street clothes and ignoring the whole situation. In the morning it's great, after work very stressful. Cheap prices though, and they used to have a great international foods/organic section before their recent re-organization; those products have all but disappeared now.

Tons of options here but SUPER busy, especially on the weekends and rush hour. The traffic and parking can get a little nuts, so I prefer the Krogers just a couple miles away off Worthington Woods.

The experience was fine until about 12:05 when we were rudely told they were closing to clean their floors. No announcement over the speaker just multiple rude employees. I checked and it says 1 am but they claimed they closed at 11:00 the night before. I expect this service from Walmart but not Kroger

In my opinion, this is the best Kroger in the Columbus area. A glowing endorsement as Kroger stores in general are top quality. That said, the location, layout, selection, and staff in this particular location set it apart from the rest. One issue/negative I have with this location is the parking situation. It is fairly limited and on certain days of the week and at certain times of day it can be fairly difficult to find a decent spot. This situation is likely a consequence of their downtown location so I figure they should be cut a bit of slack for that as anyone who has spent anytime in downtown Columbus knows how difficult driving and parking can be. All that said and in sum, as long as I live in downtown Columbus, Kroger on Sycamore will be my primary choice for groceries.

Well ,I never come here because of me stereotyping this place but ,to my surprise what a gem .This might be the only Kroger that has fresh deli rolls. With options like fresh femur bone don't knock it unless you've tried it there is something for everyone. Today I noticed a fresh selection of pig feet and fresh hamhock not smoked.Variety, variety, variety unusual selection great service and quick checkout. What more can you ask for.

I've got to review the pharmacy. They are so friendly there. My dad is afraid of doctors so I took him to the pharmacy and said they were my "friends" trying to help him. They could tell what was going on immediately and helped us. Always ALWAYS polite. I'm pretty sure the woman's name is Donna

The produce section is nice and its easy to navigate. Beer selection is OK for a grocery store (it's not giant Eagle). But the store needs way more small shopping carts. They have like 10 for the whole place. Nobody wants a big cart. The store caters to a lot of young professionals living in the area. These people don't need a full size shopping cart. Please get more small carts!

Most excellent, appropriate and orderly store. Everything is fresh and stored excellently. Found what I was looking for.. International food section is stuffed with all the essential items. Organic vegetables, all fresh and neatly arranged.. Loved the store!

This Kroger's has some of the freshest and most consistent food bars within the entire city. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well as the management and it's always easy to get in and out no matter how crowded it gets. Plus they always have a wine tasting event every Thursday. Great atmosphere, free wifi, Starbucks inside and good people ran by great management.

We love Krogers! Much better than Giant Eagle. Love that they send us personalized coupons.

Being from a rural town in Oklahoma and moving up here to Polaris has been a culture shock to say the least. Tonight I had a lady following me in the store for a good hour asking for money & fishing for personal information. Being married to a 15 year vet of Army Ranger Bat. I've learned to always have a guard up but it left me very uneasy. She even followed me to the check out and watched me checkout. By that time I was kind of nervous. I asked the young man bagging to walk me to my car and I explained what had happened. He had even noticed. I called the manager and that gentleman had already went and made her aware. Needless to say I will continue going here where the associates are friendly and caring as well...

The selection is poor, the produce is not fresh and It's not uncommon to see gnats around the fruit. The meat is of poorer quality than it's labeled (you can tell when cooking ground beef that it's not the same fat content as say 85/15 at a different store and you'll find lots of gristle). I have been a loyal Kroger customer for 20 years and have shopped over a dozen local stores in central Ohio. I can tell you this is my least favorite. Many employees are teens and typically are standing around socializing and being disrespectful to customers. When the shift manager asks them to help, they turn their disrespect towards him/her and work together to publicly humiliate by rolling their eyes and refusing to follow directives etc. You can expect to bag your own groceries while this is going on. I gave this place 2 stars because it has a good location if you just need a few items, there is a Kroger gas station here, and I've found two employees to be hardworking and kind to shoppers.

Not the fanciest Kroger, but steadily improving. Although there are much flashier locations, including the two closest to this one, the Soldano Blvd. Kroger has everything I need and very helpful staff. This location is gradually adding more specialty items and recently added a liquor store. In particular, the pharmacy staff are fantastic and a pleasure to interact with. My one complaint is that the seafood counter is never staffed, so getting someone when I need to buy seafood from the display case can be challenging.

Good Krogers, it doesn't get the credit it deserves. Could do a bit better on training the cashiers to be more friendly, all they talk about is when they are taking their break and I sometimes have to bag my own groceries. However the managers there are top notch and really friendly. Store is improving - adding more organic selection and now have an state regulated liquor with finer scotches and whiskey's store inside which is good. Gentrification is imminent.
