Best meat dept and produce in town. Best place to find international foods. It's expensive, let's not kid ourselves. But save a bit and shop on Tuesdays when beef and chicken are 2.99/lb and the Big Meal Deals are amazing for only $20 to feed four. Excellent hot food and buffet bar and the desserts and sweets are phenomenal. Not the place to get staple items like ketchup. But FM is definitely a part of the regular shopping rotation.

I love this store. It's better than going to an amusement park! Gorgeous produce, helpful employees, great selection! Try their little bag of "heavenly" tomatoes! Their name suits them perfectly!

I always enjoy my experience at The Fresh Market. Outside of going to a restaurant; I always get my sushi from here. The staff is usually very friendly.

This is probably my favorite grocery store in Charlotte. Easy to get in and out. Great selection. Great place to go for semi-homemade dinners the day you are having a dinner party.

Wonderful selection of produce, baked items. The butcher case always impresses. The staff at every location are very knowledgeable and happy.

I really enjoy shopping at Fresh market but the prices are pretty high. Buying meats on special is certainly worth noting and the deals are worth waiting for. The food tasting and events are fun but I catch them at random.aybe there's a social calendar that they post? Very nice employees and a relaxed atmosphere.

They have the best deals for the big small meal deal. $20 feeds a family of 4 and is all in one place to grab and go. Comes with the recipe and is so much healthier than fast food for less money.

My wife and I like to go here and get coffee and pastries. The staff is helpful and they chat with our little kids. We get to sample four different flavors of drip coffee before we choose a couple of 12oz cups for $1.29/ per cup. We then go pick out pastries and then we sit in a cafe area that has napkins, a microwave, and a sink. It is great for little kids because we do not have to worry about them bugging others in a restaurant type setting. We rarely get anything besides coffee and pastries here so I am not a good judge of the other prices.

This store offers a fresh relief from the typical grocery store. To be a fairly small store they have a really great meat, seafood, poultry. The selections are various on products. The deli and bakery are well kept. The seafood market area doesn't" reek". The store brands are a cut above in my opinion compared to others. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They do not carry the local newspaper. It's sort of tucked into a strip shopping plaza. But easy enough to find. Quality of items are great

Great selection of meats and fish. However, I noticed it was more expensive than other fresh markets in the area. It has nice specials though.

A wonderful grocery market like what you'd think there were when they were family run. There are fresh meal deals, specials, and tastings on almost every day. They stock fresh and organic produce and while their prices can be a little high, they're a great place to go when you need to make a family meal or grab a few things from the store.

Excellent food. I especially like the weekly dinner-for-4 specials. The service is adequate but not always the best.

The meat counter has only No-Antibiotic meat. Wow! That one tweak in my buying habits will yield great results over time, I think. Great store, great deli items, and even everyday-basics come in their own brand, which I like. And remember, always make friends with your Butcher!

I'm very pleased with the new Fresh Market in S. Charlotte. If there were any inconsistencies upon opening the new store, it was quickly remedied. The prepared foods are great. The fruit is delicious. I love the party trays and holiday meals. I have one BIG issue that will deter me from going to Fresh Market. There are no areas in the parking lot in which to leave the empty carts. Therefore, when I'm not well, hurting or the weather is in climate, what to do with the empty cart? I'm certainly not going to walk all the way back to the store. I shouldn't have to. Therefore, I can NOT patronize or I can leave the cart to float around the lot rolling into cars like my car was dented by a run away cart driven by the wind. It's an easy fix, spend a few $$$ to install cart holders.
