Welcome to the neighborhood, I love it, we don't have to travel far for International Market anymore. Prices are so good, the store is clean. They are new so please give them time to be more organize.

I have been living in this area since 2013 and I love the area especially due to its very diverse culture. I remember when Safeway closed I thought oh there goes the grocery store and then I recently saw that a new grocery store was about to open called Global Food and thought oh that will be nice for the community. I just visited the store for the first time and I must say it will be the last because it is blatantly racist. I remember before it opened I saw individuals from the Asian culture walking in and setting up and I immediately thought they will hate Black people but I went in today because I wanted to find out for myself if I was right and yes I was. I say that because whenever Asians set up businesses in our community they show Black people no respect and this community has a good number of Black people in it and I myself am Black . The store literally doesn't have any black people there as far as I can tell, the workers are Asian and Hispanic I believe. I understand that the Safeway closed to reasons of theft I believe but don't put a grocery store in my neighborhood and not hire me and watch me like a hawk when I come. There are great stores in this area like Aldi, ShopRite and Shoppers and I will continue to shop there. The service is better, the prices are better, the people are better and the diversity is better. I urge all Black people to stay away from Global Foods on Briggs Chaney because trust me it is outright racist and for those that disagree with racism don't shop here because they don't deserve any of our money. Again Black people stop spending your money with people that hate you, take your business elsewhere.

I was sad to see Safeway go and I wasn't too sure if a International store would be good for the Briggs Chaney area in respect to the shopping center being know for crime. In all honesty I just wanted a clean, respectful International store. So far the store is clean, however the Asian staff is not so helpful (mostly the women). They talk to you like they don't want you there maybe it's cultural. Anyway, they have a nice produce selection and a great deal of Latino items which I really like.

Gave this place a one because .... I don't like the fact that people follow you in the store every time u go in an aisle . The fact that they have 10 cameras like someone gon steal from that. But , I won't be shopping there I'll stick with shop rite .
