Marsh Pharmacy on the map

Had to run and get some quick food for a bachelor party. Was convenient and fast. Employees were nice also.

I'll preface with "I hate grocery shopping." However, there are some things that just make this Marsh unique. It is very eccentric and has been in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. A newer, nicer Marsh was just built at Michigan and Capitol, but this one has a personality whereas the other one is simply a nice marsh... but I do like that new Marsh too. When I wander around this "old" Marsh, I regularly have employees in the deli ask if I have any questions and if I want to sample anything. One time in particular I was trying to figure out which cheese to use in a dish and a nice lady came out and asked me if I needed help, I explained my situation and she was able to help me pick out the perfect cheese. The deli workers give this store definitely a "community" feel. As for the store itself... its old. Lots of parts are dirty, it has an odd layout with creepy people sometimes outside in front of the store... but I like it. Also, their wine selection is great, I suggest a tempernillo if you are a fan of malbec's or pinot noir's and want to try something new. All of their wine is priced extremely reasonably. (remember, you can't buy wine/alcohol on Sunday in Indiana, ugh).

Never found any issues with narrow isles but then I am not obese anymore. They usually have very good fruits and vegetables. Very fresh, although they can get cleaned out when busy. They isles are also wider in that section. I owe a thanks to the healthy options at Marsh for helping me to loose a good amount of weight.

Good luck meandering through those narrow isles.
