Safeway on the map
Andrew Sidles: 05/02/2017 07:29
Never very busy. Well stocked shelves and friendly staff.
Savannah Martin: 05/01/2017 00:21
I usually have a great experience shopping at safeway but it must be said that Rose at the Nevada Ave. store ruined my opinion of safeway. She is rude and purposefully unhelpful. Her hateful attitude really changed my mind about shopping here. Go elsewhere if you value customer service.
Ed Otis: 04/25/2017 01:13
My family and I have been coming to this store for the last 30yrs. The quality has dropped to that of getting meat out of a dumpster, and your produce our of a field at the end of October. Everything in the store is at the end of expiration date, or worse, expired. The health department needs to do a walk around and put this slum store in its proper place Still charges top dollar for food that shouldn't be for sale by any standard. Ed Otis. Cascade Colo.
Ty Smith: 04/19/2017 22:22
Good deals if you use your Sam's Club card you can get lots of money off of gas
Nguyen Roche: 04/19/2017 00:40
The flower selection for Easter was surprisingly good considering it was the day before.
Mark Britten: 04/18/2017 17:03
Prices are high as are to be expected at an Albertsons affiliate. The family loves the wings and chicken from their deli! Also, MUST try the shaved roasted Turkey in their deli cabinet!
James Pavlick: 04/15/2017 04:44
It's been a while since I've been inside here. About 20 years long. They've made some upgrades. The place looks great.
David Zacher: 04/11/2017 18:42
Safeway overcharges for basic everyday items because they monopolized this area for groceries. They are always understaffed and can't handle the volume of customers that enter the store but they don't care. They always mark stuff on sale on the shelf but when you get home to unload everything and check the receipt, you are charged full price because they don't update their system. It may be only a few dollars but there are probably hundreds of customers dealing with the same issue and it adds up. Go to King Soopers, Walmart or Trader Joe's to get the same products at 1/3 less. And the Monopoly game is a scam. Just look at the demographic locations of the winners. They are all pretty much in one area and even if you spend THOUSANDS of dollars at the store, you will always be one or two tickets from winning. The game odds are fixed.
Vinny Lashley: 04/11/2017 14:02
The store is always clean and well stocked with a good selection of sale items. Their meat department is well maintained, and the prices are reasonable for their high quality. Jazz and the other cashiers are always nice, and if you're in a hurry you can check out at customer service to save time.
Bryan Terhune: 04/08/2017 07:21
The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoy shopping at this Safeway because the shelves are generally well stocked and the store is kept clean.
Christopher Spurlock: 04/05/2017 16:16
Never waited under 10 minutes for checkout. CONSTANTLY understaffed. Weak organic produce selection. Inexplicable smell of rotting fish in dry goods section next to produce that won't leave. I'd it wasn't the closest grocery store to Manitou nobody would shop there. Avoid if you can. Mostly nice staff but no need to be extra chatty at checkout when people have been in line over 15 minutes. That was my fourth frustrating visit in a row.
devin buercklin: 04/04/2017 15:05
I gave them 3stars just because they have the option of buying organic, as well as local(not to my personal standards) honey. I am not a sellout to the $ as most of your shoppers are, and if you carried worthy products I would surely come in more often as I am low-0 carbon and you are right down the street, but currently I have to take 1 1/2hrs out of my day even if I want just 1-2 things because what You have, and what I want are soooo far different. You should also know I make min. Wage and have not degraded my standards in 2yrs. I never will. Update Classic example: people looking for grassfed beef would obviously be somewhat focused on sustainability, so why is yours from Australia?
CandiAnne Colucci: 03/30/2017 23:16
Safeway use to be upscale but in recent years it's really gone downhill and this store unlike some others shows it
CandiAnne Colucci: 03/30/2017 23:12
Great staff!! Safeway has gone downhill in recent years, this use to be an upscale chain, not so much anymore.
Bridget Sawyer: 03/30/2017 11:23
this is one of the best ran Safeway I'v been to.. The manager Barney is always on hand to help customers or stock shelves or just pitch in where ever needed. He has put a crew together that all work as a team and appear to be happy . The store is well stocked and if there is something you want that they don't have , all you have to do is ask and they order it in for you. the deli has very fresh items and the deli clerks were fast and a pleasure to deal with. They will call for extra cashiers when the checkout line has more then 3 people in it announcing " "3's a crowed".. Most of the crew will know your name after shopping here after just a couple weeks giving you a feeling of importance and the knowledge that this store values it customer... I would drive past other Safeway's in a blizzard to get to this one.
Donnie Bergquist: 03/30/2017 02:20
Denise on the seafood dept. Was extremely informed and the seafood case was magnificent! Well Done!
Jon Gardner: 03/28/2017 18:55
Selection is standard, but they are regularly understaffed and checkout normally takes forever. There used to be self-checkout, but management had it removed. Additionally, the local highschool population likes to use this store as a hangout spot after school for some reason.
Chayne Johnson: 03/28/2017 12:09
Very few good things here. Managers Michelle and Gabe are incredible. Store is run down and overall moral is terrible. King Sooper is just up the street!
Carl Carlson: 03/27/2017 23:58
Excellent store. Please continue to carry your signature cafe harvest squash soup.
Master Memester: 03/26/2017 20:05
This place is close to where I live, so I do most of my shopping here. I'm always greeted by smiles and welcomes from the staff. I come later in the evening or at night most times and sometimes there are too many customers for a single cashier. I miss the self checkout as well.
Theresa G: 03/25/2017 01:53
This store is always friendly and clean. The lines are short and the staff is helpful. Especially the meat dept. They always are willing to please and give custom cuts to me when I ask. I love this store!
Penny Nicolls: 03/23/2017 21:36
Standing in line, there are two lines open and lines backed up. We look past our line to customer service and see THREE employees, two of them appeared to be management, standing there watching, leaned up against the counter. Great job guys, not even noon and you have given up for the day. They were in the process of walking away when I got my phone out for the photo. QUICK, LOOK BUSY!
Natalie Rogers: 03/18/2017 06:09
I visited from out of state and loved this store. Looks from street a bit out of date but inside luxury grocey store. Awsome to have a hint of big city hiden inside a neighborhood grocery store. Love colorado
Ricky Whitcroft: 03/13/2017 17:49
This location is truly a full service grocery store not only do they have a fresh fish market and meat counter but they also have a delicatessen and there produce department is rather extensive and they carry both regular and organic produce as well in addition to food they also have a Pharmacy in the middle of the store so that you can have your prescriptions refilled while you're doing your shopping.
Ashley Flores: 03/11/2017 02:22
I was sitting by the Starbucks with my PTSD service dog in training who was wearing his "in training" vest and sitting quietly with me. The manager approached me and asked if he was a service dog. I said we're working on it, he is in training. The manager then asked me to see his papers. I informed him it's against the law for him to request my dog's paperwork and he told me only service dogs were allowed in the store and if I wouldn't show him paperwork then I couldn't have the dog in his establishment. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
Kat Haig: 03/04/2017 09:03
Smaller Safeway with the friendliest employees ever. Love coming here!
kim smith: 02/28/2017 21:07
Since I moved here in 2012 I have shopped at the store because of the friendly staff. As time has gone on I noticed a decline in the employees happiness. I continue to go because of two different employees that are always friendly. The lines are always long there's never enough cashiers and now my favorite employees have offended me in one way or another. There is an older black lady that works in the fish department that I always hear mumbling bad comments about customers. I have decided to shop elsewhere. Good luck employees at Safeway
Emily Rome: 01/30/2017 17:44
Not a lot of variety. Spend more time searching for items that aren't there. Worth the extra three minutes to drive somewhere else.
Clayton Marvin: 01/29/2017 20:11
Great store best meat u can buy little more expensive than other stores but quality is worth it
Angela Cooper: 01/28/2017 07:28
Safeway has great customer service and helpful employees. They also offer a great selection of locally grown produce. The just for you program offers a great way to save on gas and food. I especially enjoy that the quality of meat has risen the last couple years. What's wrong
Brandon Himoff: 01/27/2017 17:44
Acceptable store. Very convenient. Selection is average.
Ashley Mae: 01/26/2017 11:34
I like the view from the parking lot. The staff at the Starbucks was really nice to my children and have them a pup cup which was something I never heard of. The store is usually clean and in stock but sometimes the hot food is lacking.
Liz Poje: 01/20/2017 23:04
Sorry, but this store is not up to Safeway standards. I just moved back after 12 years and used to shop there. Clearly time for a renovation. Employee morale seems very low. Maybe since W Colorado is getting a street makeover, Safeway will invest in a makeover. Produce quality is very low and reorganizing on the shelves clearly doesn't change the quality . Very expensive produce and poor quality. I wish the best for the store and their employees as they deserve a good store too.
Karen Jan Knabe: 01/01/2017 22:23
This is our neighborhood Safeway we are fortunate to have with great folks who care and do their best for their customers! No haters need shop here, we will all do better without your sour attitudes.
Dany B: 12/27/2016 18:26
This was an excellent store to shop at....a year ago before the self checkout stations were removed. Now typically (even during busy hours) only 2 registers are open out of 7 and it takes an eternity to purchase items. If you like to waste time this is a store for you, as for me I'm heading somewhere else from now on (there is a King Soopers down the road with cheaper products)
T S Hedricks: 12/26/2016 21:27
Cashier's and other staff members very nice and helpful. Very clean market and reasonably priced goods and services. Thank you Safeway and keep up the good work. TSH
