I go to this market twice a month for the fresh produce and their carnicería. Now my problem lies is where if you try to get any product besides produce and meat YOU HAVE TO DOUBLE CHECK THEIR EXPIRATION DATE!! It's been 3 times where I've gone and I've purchased something expired!!! The first time was with some ham that had been expired for 4 months!! The second time was milk and the 3rd was a snack product for my kids!! As a mom of 3 I can't waste so much time checking all my stuff before I shop. My husband has called and so have I to inform the manager of their lack of attention to detail but all we got was a rude manager that didn't believe our experience at their store. This is just been to much already we won't be returning to their store anymore I'll rather go across the street to food 4 less where I know I won't have to worry about double checking ALL MY PRODUCT before putting it in my cart! This is such a let down a really horrible experience overall!!

Today I locked up my bike outside and went in like I always do.. and the security guard stopped me and told me to leave my backpack by front door. It was a new security guard.. I explained I couldn't do that.. because I had valuables in my bag. The security guard seemingly implied I wanted to steal or had nothing of value. I explained I had $1400 of my stores nightly deposit.. my $600 iPad, $200 in bycicle lights. I asked him If I could speak to manager because i know him and I knew he would let me in. It was a different Manager then the one I know.. didn't speak English but luckily though I look white I am Argentinian and explained that the things in my bag meant I would rather go across the street to Food For Less then have to leave $2200 worth of stuff at security guards disposel. They refused to let me enter the store with my backpack I use to carry my purchases.. funny I've shopped here once a week for 3 years and yet I've never had to do that. I gusss times change. But making clients leave their bags at door is already ghetto (and maybe they have an issue with theft I understand that) but to refuse a hard working regular with 0 intention of stealing beans and olive oil and tortillas (what I was gonna buy) is to loose a client. I unlocked my bike went across the st to Food For Less where I walked in with my backpack bought my groceries and went home. Goodbye Northgate

Fresh tortillas made in-house. We got to sample some freshly made tortillas. Get the bags that are warm with condensation inside. :) It'll improve any taco BBQ party!

This is my favorite grocery store to go to! I love all the great deals I can get here, so I come here for almost all of my grocery needs, beyond just the Mexican pastries and meat that I enjoy being able to pick up from here as well! This is the ideal Mexican market to get all those Mexican goods you want, and pretty much anything you could find at a regular grocery store for a much better deal as well! The store itself is a decent size and very clean and organized. I look forward to continue shopping here for my grocery needs!
